Koray is an excellent communicator - explaining the work that needs to be done, how it will be done and when. His team turn up when they say they will and are efficient whilst on site. When they go they leave the site tidy. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them again.

I would highly recommend Koray and his team. They completed a kitchen renovation for us including replastering, replacing an external door and frame, and installing all new white goods. He and his team are very skilled with an excellent attention to detail, producing a high quality finish. Everyone who worked on our property was respectful, tidy and easy to communicate with. Koray was a complete professional from start to finish. We were doing a little bit of everything (structural work in the kitchen, new garden, installing a new kitchen, moving walls, new bathroom etc). They were there every morning at 8am and when they left they spent the last 30 mins of work tidying and cleaning as we were living in the house while the work was being done and they wanted to leave it tidy so we wouldn't be to disrupted. The work was done to an excellent standard and we honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Every single person that came on site was professional and completed work in an extremely timely manner. I have even gotten recommendations from Koray for plumbers, electricians and decorators all of which have been excellent. Koray was extremely easy to communicate with and detailed oriented for all tasks. I could not recommend Urban Home Improvement more highly!

Urban are a fantastic builders, and I would recommend them to anyone. Koray, who leads the team, is great to work with. Highly knowledgeable, his advice when decisions needed making was invaluable, and he is a great communicator, responding quickly to texts, emails and calls. He and his colleague, Catalin, are calm, polite and friendly - our neighbours all commented on how polite and friend the Urban team were. Urban clearly take pride in their work and are dedicated to achieving a high standard. The contractors they work with (electrician, heating engineer, carpenter) were likewise, very good. My project took three months and involved significant internal changes and renovations. It was completed on budget and on time, I always had complete confidence in the Urban team and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.

If there were 10 stars, I’d give Koray 10. I had done two different renovations before and had varying experiences, but working with Koray was another level of great.
Start with one of the most detailed and accurate quotes at the start. This is so important, I’ve come to find, because if you don’t change your mind a lot and don’t uncover too many problems, a good quote keeps you on budget! I believe our project was 2k under budget. Unheard of.
Koray and his team also finished on time. And this was during lockdown with the world falling apart and supplies becoming scarce. Again, unheard of.
The job is gorgeous, we love our kitchen extension and cannot recommend him enough, really can’t.
I was very please with the work Koray and his team did refurbishing my house in Bethnal Green. The works included opening out the ground floor, a rear extension, a new kitchen and bathroom. It was all delivered on time, with zero hassle and the finishes were great.
